Travel in Vietnam Today
Vietnam Travel, so, first impressions of Hanoi - reminded me very much of Cairo with all the crazy drivers honking their horns like it was going out of fashion, pretty polluted in the centre although the surroundings are pretty spectacular - full of rice paddies containing workers with their trousers rolled up to their knees complete with the conical hats!
More from Vietnam Travel
Travel in Mui Ne Vietnam, We spent 3 days in Mui Ne before travel to Dalat Vietnam which is quite high up on central Vietnam. There we spent the day with 2 ''easy riders'' which are basically motorbike tour guides. Was a great way to see the place - saw fab views of Dalat as we sped round the countryside high up in the hills! Visited a Pagoda which was made of thousands of beer bottles, took a cable car ride across Dalat, visited a tribal village (The Lats) out in the hills and bought sweets for the tribal kids which were quickly demolished!
Travel to Ninh Binh Vietnam
About 20 minutes up the road, Khoi and the driver caught up with us and we got into our Land Cruiser to head to Hoa Lu.
Travel to Hoa Lu – the Dinh & Le Kings’ Temples:
Our visit here was more on the historical side as Hoa Lu is the medieval site of the early Vietnam Kingdom, its ancient capital. The main attraction in this area is the 2 main sanctuaries / temples devoted to King Dinh and Kind Le, the ancient kings who once ruled the Kingdom. Both sanctuaries / temples are built against a landscape of limestone mountains.
